Parents across the nation are turning to online resources to support their child’s learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There is no shortage of online material. Finding bilingual resources for high-ability learners, though, continues to be a challenge. Families whose home language is not English may feel lost in the shuffle. This resource list is intended to provide a variety of options in curricular and high-interest areas. It includes sites with language support, materials in Spanish, or both.

Brie Smith is the Director of Advanced Academics in Lovejoy ISD. Brie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Psychology as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching from Austin College. She also holds a Master of Education from Stephen F. Austin University. In her 20th year, she is just as passionate about gifted education as she was on day one.
